    ESP
      acronym for "extrasensory perception".

    Extrasensory Perception
      [acronym: ESP] the supposed ability of some people to perceive of events past, present, or future, in means not associated with the senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, or smell. These abilities cover a wide range of effects, including mental communication and mind reading (called telepathy), remote experiencing of events (called clairsentience), determining past events from no clues (called psychometry), foreseeing future events (called precognition), and even moving objects without having to be in physical contact with them (called telekinesis or psychokinesis).
