Date(s) reported: "1929 to 1939, Feb. 27"

"Borley Rectory was once dubbed ""the Most Haunted House in England,"" a title it earned in spades. The Rectory was reportedly haunted by multiple spirits; the most commonly seen was that of a young nun. After the house burned down in a fire possibly caused by the ghosts, the remains of a young woman were found buried in the ruins of the building's basement."
