Each Uisge (the Water Horse)

Area(s) reported: Europe:Scotland
Date(s) reported: Timeless

"The Each Uisge -- also known as the 'Water-Horse' -- of Scotland is a strange being that composes a body for itself out of the water it lives in, often with a horse-like theme to it. They have been known to have friendly relations with human villages, often taking human form to participate in town events… but they also have been known to kidnap humans for mates, apparently unaware that people don't breath water very well."
