"A strange tale was once told in Japan of a woman whose head tended to wander around her house on a pencil-thin neck when she was sleeping. Though only reportedly seen once, the image of the Rokuro-Kubi ('crazy twisting neck') has become one of the most readily recognized monsters in Japanese pop culture."
